The purpose of this position is to provide quality dining room service at all times in accordance with Federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, as well as our established policies and procedures as may be directed by the dining room Supervisor or the Chef/Manager.
Ability to communicate with and relate well to elder population, the public and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner under all circumstances. Ability to follow regulations for safe handling of food and service items. Ability to set up dining room table for meals. Ability to take resident's/guest's orders and serve them promptly. Ability to clear tables after meal service. Ability to wash down tables and chairs. Some food service experience is preferred but not necessary.
