We are a large retirement community located on Broadway and Pantano looking for top notch individuals that have a desire to excel. We are currently hiring for the following position: Resident Services Coordinator.  

The primary purpose of this job position is to serve as a resource for residents at Fellowship Square – Tucson in an efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by the Executive Director.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Respond to day-to-day needs and concerns of residents at Fellowship Square.
  2. Responsible for monthly renewals. Obtaining and analyzing lease expiration detail.
  3. Development of Resident Council and continued service as primary staff liaison.
  4. Develop and coordinate new resident orientation programs and efforts.
  5. Serve as resource to outside services, assisted care facilities and other businesses that could be of interest to residents.
  6. Develop and coordinate resident visitation efforts for residents that are homebound.
  7. Develop rapport with outside agencies that act in the interests of seniors.
  8. Track residents that require off site emergency or extensive health care.
  9. Lead pharmacy delivery and on site physician programs.
  10. Maintain resident files with most current resident and family information.
  11. Maintain excellent communication with other Department directors.
  12. Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm attitude when visiting with staff, residents and visitors.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident information to assure resident rights are protected.
  14. Follow all established safety procedures and precautions when operating office equipment.
  15. Promote the Christian Care entities to the public in a positive manner.
  16. Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Executive Director

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in social work preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a health care facility in Social Services. Caregiver Certification required.  Must be able to articulate clearly and precisely. Must be able to deal effectively with stress created by sick residents, multiple tasks, noises, interruptions, and work cooperatively as part of the health care team while maintaining a pleasant and calm personality.
