  • Overview

    This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall facility operations.




    Essential Job Duties:


    -Manage schedules and projects for maintenance, housekeeping, and security departments

    -Work directly with Operations and Marketing teams during remodels to ensure smooth and successful transition for residents

    -Execute strategic plan that targets specific, measurable goals for facility conditions and R&M budgets

    -Monitor facility expenses, obtain quotes from vendors, and handle facility emergencies

    -Supervise and coordinate activities of independent contractors used for landscaping, pool services, pest control, trash removal, and emergency call system monitoring

    -Ensure resident rights to fair and equitable treatment, privacy, property and civil rights, are followed by all department personnel

    -Ensure all applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes, and statutes that apply to the physical maintenance of this campus

    -Other duties and projects as assigned by the Executive Director and/or Chief Executive Officer



    -Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred

    -Minimum 4 years facilities management experience

    -Must be knowledgeable regarding boilers, compressors, generators, various mechanical equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems

    -Proficient in reading blueprints and city/state reports/guidelines

    -Demonstrated knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

    -Solid project management and supervision skills

    -Able to communicate with residents, vendors, and various site teams in a professional manner
