This position is responsible for providing all HR responsibilities for campus staff with a variety of projects in accordance with established policies and procedures, as directed by the Executive Director.
Duties include, but are not limited to: hiring and terminating employees; maintain employee records; provide counseling and conflict management when necessary; conduct investigations on policy violations; provide new hire and benefit orientations; audit and correct payroll records biweekly; data entry of new hire information, employee status changes and other information.
This HR Generalist position requires a minimum of 3 years’ Human Resources experience and a working familiarity with ADP HRIS system. Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. A combination of relevant field of study and experience will be considered. PHR or SHRM-CP Certification is preferred. Successful candidate will be willing to work additional hours when needed.
