    Job Description: 

    The primary purpose of this position is to perform Executive Administrative Assistant duties in an efficient manner in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by the Executive Director.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist Executive Director with general duties including but not limited to copying, typing, and filing.
    • Act as a point of contact between the Executive Director, staff and internal/external clients
    • Assist guests with questions, concerns or issues as necessary
    • Receive calls, take messages
    • Maintain Executive Director’s calendar, schedule appointments/meetings, and provide reminders
    • Prepare purchase orders, reports, memos, letters, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software
    • Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries
    • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
    • Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access to specific individuals
    • Maintain and monitor assigned departmental budgets
    • Prepare agendas and make arrangements, such as coordinating catering for luncheons, for committee, board, and other meetings
    • Develop and maintain an efficient documentation and filing system
    • Able to work independently with little-to-no supervision
    • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions
    • Present a professional demeanor and attitude at all times
    • Must possess extensive computer/software and internet research skills
    • Maintain CONFIDENTIALITY of all pertinent information.
    • Promote Christian Care entities to the public in a positive manner
    • Perform additional related duties as necessary or as instructed by the Executive Director

    Qualifications

    An Associate’s Degree is preferred or exceptional proven experience.  Must have at least three (3) years’ experience in an administrative and secretarial field. Computer experience a must.
