Christian Care Management is currently hiring a Campus Ambassador who is an experienced, friendly, mission-driven charitable giving professional with excellent “people skills” to perform a wide range of fundraising, relationship building, communication, administrative, and logistical support duties with primary focus on charitable giving, donor and volunteer cultivation, program development, charitable gift reporting, resident and community support, education and outreach for the Mesa campus.


Job Description:


The Campus Ambassador will focus on donor cultivation and stewardship by sharing the Mission, Vision and Values of the Christian Care companies, engage and build relationships with residents, their families and friends, neighborhood churches and the community to maximize the Christian Care companies’ brand awareness, coordinate educational and enrichment programs to enhance the lives of residents, their families, caregivers and community partners, as well as cultivating volunteers to assist in growing community awareness, education and support for Arizona seniors and the transformative senior lifestyle services offered by Christian Care.



  • Work with Foundation and campus staff to perform tactics and carry out specific actions required to achieve strategic planning goals
  • Manage all campus charitable giving and fundraising activities
  • Report, acknowledge and thank all campus charitable gifts and donations according to Christian Care Foundation policies and procedures
  • Organize and manage donor database and support constituent management
  • Manage verbal and written communications with donors, residents, family members, friends, community partners and volunteers
  • Establish programs, special campaigns and community development events
  • Conduct direct mail marketing and social media fundraising campaigns
  • Create content to contribute to all forms of media including newsletters and press releases
  • Collect campus specific news and senior stories for sharing throughout the organization
  • Develop campus specific communication plan and social media strategy
  • Provide primary administrative support functions, including, but not limited to answering phones, copying, scanning, drafting reports and conducting research, etc.



  • Minimum 1-2 years of sales, marketing, community development, or nonprofit fundraising experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred in a job-related field
  • High level of proficiencies with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive personal and financial information with integrity and confidentiality
  • Enjoy working cooperatively and collaboratively with executives, staff, residents, community partners and volunteers
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and follow instructions and carefully review work for accuracy

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with social media marketing and email fundraising campaigns
  • Experience with Blackbaud Everydayhero or similar Peer-to-Peer fundraising websites
  • Experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT donor management or similar CRM platforms
