Sous Chef

You will lead a team of food specialists and ensure that our food maintains the highest quality. We hope you are ready to help bring some new and delicious changes to our kitchen and delight our residents!

• Hire, train, and manage staff regularly with the approval and assistance of the Executive Chef and Human Resources
• Responsible for completing performance appraisals for staff within the department in accordance with company policy
• Scheduling of kitchen staff according to budget and business forecast
• Develop additions to menu
• Monitor inventory levels of commonly used items
• Ensures that all kitchen equipment is in good working order
• Maintains good working relationship with the Front House Managers
• Conducts daily meetings with servers and kitchen staff to discuss additions to menu and to resolve any operation concerns

• Arizona Food Handlers Sanitation Card required
• Culinary Degree or two years’ experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
• Ability to track expenses and manage a budget
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Must understand, speak, read and write fluent English
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
