Job Description: 

Follows physician orders and facility policy and procedure in ordering, storing, Accounting/Finance for, and administration of drugs, treatments, and tube feedings.

Records on a timely basis all medications/treatments administered, including reasons for and effect of PRN medications. Documents on the nurse's notes significant observations regarding the resident's needs for and/or response to medications/treatment. Stores medications in a safe manner and accounts for all controlled substances through accurate recording. Orders, stores, and administers tube feedings.

Must be a graduate of an approved school for licensed practical nursing or registered nursing. Must hold a current, valid license in the State of Arizona and have an understanding of DHS rules. Previous experience in a geriatric setting preferred. Must be flexible and have a desire to communicate and work with seniors. Minimum of 2 years' Assisted Living experience. Knowledge of Assisted Living rules and regulations. Must be motivated, self-starter, with a passion to serve seniors.
