Maintenance Tech

We are Fellowship Square Tucson, a not-for-profit senior retirement community seeking a hardworking, dedicated maintenance tech to join our Christian Care Family. We are looking for responsible, professional individuals who want to provide a superior customer service experience to our residents rather than doing "just a job." This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday from 7:30am to 4pm.

• Responsible for performing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall duties.
• Responsible for painting apartments, offices and common areas.
• Complete work orders and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.

• Prior professional experience with commercial and/or residential property maintenance a plus.
• Prior experience painting desired.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in painting.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to self-direct work.
• Attention to detail a must.
• Ability to communicate with and relate well to the elderly.  
• Must be able to work well alone or in a team environment.
• Must be available to work varying shifts as needed.
• Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public.
• Must be a team player.
• Hard worker.
