Fellowship Square, Christian Care, a senior living community, is seeking a passionate Assistant Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. This individual will assist the Dining Room Director with the supervision and coordination of the dining room activities and will ensure that quality food service is always provided in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and the established policies and procedures within Fellowship Square, Christian Care.

The Assistant Dining Room Supervisor will ensure that our residents and guests receive the best dining room experience possible.  This individual will be responsible for ensuring the dining room is ready for each meal service and motivate staff to be attentive and friendly throughout their shift. When necessary, this individual will also need to resolve any issues our residents and guests may have with the food or their experience.

• Supervise waitstaff and provide a wonderful dining room experience for our Residents and guests.
• Ensure proper food portions are served, and that attractive plate presentations and service standards are followed.
• Effectively coach and mentor employees; proactively support employee involvement and development; Counsel employees on performance standards; Provide feedback to Dining Room Director on performance reviews. Orient and train personnel in dining room procedures.
• Assign work schedules and tasks and coordinate all activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service.
• Supervise the organization and sanitation of the restaurant areas.
• Conduct regular in-service meetings.
• Ensure the dining staff works safely and adheres to the policies and procedures.
• Ensure that sanitation and safety standards are met.
• Follow regulations for safe handling of food and service items.

• Minimum of a HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years dining room service experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in hospitality or similar position preferred.
• Must possess a Food Handler's Card or attain one within 30 days of hire.

  The ability to communicate courteously and diplomatically with residents and guests in all situations.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.

Schedule : Monday -Thursday 10:30am- 6:30pm Friday & Saturday Off 

Pay Rate: $22.50
