Overview

Attention all Drivers! We are looking for a professional and friendly Driver to join our team! Your main goal in this position should be to ensure the highest level of Transportation service to our seniors and provide an outstanding customer service experience.

The primary purpose of this job position is to drive Christian Care vehicles to transport resident to scheduled activities in accordance with Christian Care policies and procedures and to set up for activity events.

Responsibilities

  • Drive residents to scheduled activities.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are being followed when transporting a resident 
  • Monitor maintenance needs and make arrangements for preventative maintenance of vehicles.
  • Set up chairs and tables for activity events at Fellowship Square.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of HS diploma or GED and be a minimum of 18 years of age and of good moral character.
  • Must have excellent driving record.
  • Must have AZ Commercial Driver's License with "P" rating, or be willing to obtain one before starting work.
  • Prefer experience with transporting people/goods in large vehicles, van, bus.
  • Prefer experience in working with older adults.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors and the general public.
