We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shift coverage at our skilled nursing facility in Phoenix, AZ. As a PRN CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care on an as-needed basis, primarily assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) for our residents.

This position offers flexible on-call scheduling and the opportunity to make a direct impact on the well-being of our patients, supporting them with comfort and dignity while collaborating with our skilled nursing staff.

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of charge nurse.
• Observes and reports physical and/or behavior changes in resident immediately to charge nurse.
• Feeds resident, maintains intake and output as requested.
• Performs charting in records reflecting resident activities of daily living.
• Follows assignment sheet made by charge nurse both as to group and extra duties.
• Works tactfully and cooperative with residents, families, visitors and the entire staff throughout the nursing center.
• Assures that all resident's rights are maintained at all times. Reports any violations or suspected deviations.
• Makes rounds with oncoming nursing assistant, checking resident's condition and giving verbal report.
• Assists in transporting resident to and from activities.
• Assists rehabilitation aids when needed and available.

1. Certified Nursing Assistant training and current certification in the State of Arizona.
2. Minimum of 18 years of age.
3. Ability to verbally communicate with residents, families, the public and other members of the nursing center.
4. Ability to read/write English and document observations.
5. Must be honest, dependable and exhibit a warm, cheerful, caring manner.
6. Must be able to safely perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
7. Experience in a PRN or per diem capacity is a plus, as it requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to varying shifts and responsibilities.
