Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team as an On-Call Concierge. The Concierge will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and kindness.

As the “face” of our community and first impression, the Concierge is to provide outstanding customer service that aligns with our corporate value to “joyfully serve with humility, integrity and respect”.

 

Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday

8:30am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for interacting with residents, their family members, prospective residents and their families, staff, resident care professionals, vendors, referral sources, and others, both by phone and in person.
  • Must always represent a friendly and helpful demeanor.
  • Must develop a high level of knowledge on campus services in order to respond quickly and accurately to inquiries.
  • Act as the point of reference for residents who need assistance or information and attend to their wishes and requirements.
  • Understand residents needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the community. 
  • Arrange events, excursions, transportation etc., upon request from residents.
  • Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year experience in a customer service, concierge desk environment preferred.
  • General knowledge of housing, hospitality and health care services available to Seniors preferred.
  • A minimum of one year experience in computer software programs including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and Windows.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Strong communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of elderly residents.
  • Ability to respond to on-call requests in a timely manner.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate various shifts and emergency needs.
