Overview

Fellowship Square, a senior living organization, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Human Resources Manager who excels in building relationships and has a keen eye for detail in managing today’s dynamic workforce. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, maintain a steady and professional demeanor, and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring compliance, fostering employee engagement, and supporting a workplace culture rooted in Christian values. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the HR Manager will implement HR best practices, policies, and programs to enhance the well-being of employees and residents alike.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes to ensure the selection of top-tier candidates who align with the organization's mission and values.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management, fostering a positive and mission-driven workplace culture.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Training & Development: Implement training programs to support leadership development, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Work with HR Corporate leadership to manage employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
  • Performance Management: Develop and oversee performance evaluation processes to support career development and staff recognition.
  • HR Policy & Procedures: Ensures adherence to HR policies and supports employees and leaders in maintaining compliance.
  • Workplace Culture & Engagement: Promote an inclusive and compassionate work environment for all employees through routine engagement with staff across all campus positions.

Qualifications

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • HR certification: Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a nonprofit setting.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, mediation, and employee relations.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Fellowship Square.
  • Experience working with ADP HRIS and Yardi software preferred.

Pay Rate: The starting pay rate for the positions is $60,000 per year, with compensation varying based on experience.
