Overview

We are seeking a Director of Subsidized Housing and Security to lead and oversee the administration of our HUD-subsidized housing programs and security operations. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with HUD regulations, managing resident services, and maintaining a safe, welcoming community for our seniors, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, and federal/state/local regulations.
  • Manage lease agreements, income verifications, recertifications, and waitlists.
  • Serve as the Section 504 and EIV Coordinator, ensuring accessibility and compliance.
  • Supervise subsidized housing staff and lead day-to-day operations across Phoenix & Cottonwood locations.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure successful audits and inspections.
  • Provide strategic leadership for campus security operations.
  • Develop policies and procedures to promote efficiency, compliance, and resident satisfaction.
  • Handle resident concerns, grievances, and incident reporting.
  • Oversee budget planning, financial reporting, and resource allocation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or a general equivalency diploma required, at minimum.
  • Three years training in apartment management and/or three years work experience in real estate property management and leasing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Three years of experience leading and supervising employees.
  • Basic knowledge of payroll applications and processes.
  • Knowledge of Yardi leasing and property management software preferred.
