We are seeking a Staff Accountant to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial reports by assisting with accounts receivable, medical billing, and general ledger transactions.

Accounts Receivable

• Assist with ACH processes for all properties.
• Provide backup support for Billing Specialists on rent and non-rent deposits in Yardi or PCC.
• Enter deposits into Excel check registers as needed.

General Ledger

• Perform savings account bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and post monthly recurring journal entries.
• Complete account reconciliations and journal entries as requested.

Other Duties

• Assist Senior Accountant with financial packet assembly.
• Record employee incidents/accidents per policy.
• Report unsafe conditions or defective equipment promptly.
• Participate in approved workshops and seminars.
• Uphold resident and employee rights and promote equal employment opportunities.

Education & Experience: Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred; 2–5 years in accounts receivable and general ledger transactions. Equivalent experience may substitute for education.

Skills: Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Yardi experience is a plus.

Other Requirements:

• Minimum age 21; good moral character with no prior fraud-related convictions.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to follow instructions, operate office equipment, and make independent decisions under pressure.
• Professional, tactful interaction with coworkers, residents, and the public.

Pay Rate: The starting pay rate for the position is $25.00 per hour, with compensation varying based on experience.
