Overview

We are seeking a Receptionist/Resident Technology Specialist to provide technology support and instruction to residents, assisting with personal devices and resident-facing campus technology. In this role, you will focus on improving resident engagement, connectivity, and overall quality of life through patient, one-on-one support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with smartphones, tablets, computers, smart TVs, and Wi-Fi.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and device setup.
  • Support resident-facing technology (TV channels, digital signage, surveys, QR codes).
  • Offer simple instruction and technology education to residents.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of consumer technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and comfort working with older adults.
  • Service-oriented and dependable. 
  • Ability to move across campus and lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred skills: 

  • Experience working with seniors or in a support role.
  • Prior IT, help desk, or technology assistance experience.

Schedule: Flexible schedule: On Call/Temp
